How did the process of liberalisation initiated in India in the 1990s, promote globalisation ? Explain.
भारत में 1990 के दशक में शुरू की गई उदारीकरण की प्रक्रिया ने किस प्रकार वैश्वीकरण को बढ़ावा दिया? स्पष्ट कीजिए।
Answer
The liberalisation process started in India in the 1990s promoted globalisation by reducing trade barriers and allowing foreign companies to invest. Restrictions on imports were removed, taxes were lowered, and markets were opened. This increased foreign trade, foreign investment, and integration of the Indian economy with the world economy.
1990 के दशक में भारत में शुरू की गई उदारीकरण की प्रक्रिया ने वैश्वीकरण को बढ़ावा दिया। व्यापार पर प्रतिबंध कम किए गए और विदेशी कंपनियों को निवेश की अनुमति दी गई। आयात शुल्क घटाए गए और बाजार खोले गए। इससे विदेशी व्यापार और निवेश बढ़ा तथा भारतीय अर्थव्यवस्था का विश्व से जुड़ाव मजबूत हुआ।
