Summary of English Poem My Mother At Sixty Six Class 12
- Last Friday morning, the poetess was driving from her parent’s home to Cochin. She saw her mother beside her on the seat dozing with her mouth open. Her pale face like that of a dead, carried a glimpse of passing pain. She looked at her again but soon turned her attention away from her mother and looked outside. She looked outside at the young trees running fast them. She looked at the happy and gay children coming out of their homes.
- The poetess after the airport security check from that distance looked again at her colourless, pale, late winter’s moon like calm, cold face. She again found the old familiar pain and her baby’s own children’s fear on her face. She scatters smiles on her face saying goodbye to her. She wishes to meet her old Amma again.
